Italy does not exactly fit in with what I had in mind for this album, but Italy IS a big place . . . in which we visited several unique places. Of the ten cities and villages we explored, seven are represented here: Rome, Positano, other Amalfi Coast spots, Florence, Pisa, Vernazza, and Venice.
Except for architecture, you will not find photos of art*, although I have hundreds of art pictures, including church and palace frescoed ceilings, and famous sculptures and paintings. Instead, I have focused on sharing what were to me, more interesting shots of cityscapes, street scenes, and an occasional landscape.
So following are my favorite fifty out of over 2200.

Bryce Canyon is not really a canyon, but it is one of the most interesting erosion features in the national park system. It was a warm day after a snow blizzard the night before, and the reds, greens, blues, and whites made for an interesting color palette.
The Grand Canyon gallery consists mostly of images from a 10-day rafting trip down 226 miles of the Colorado River, from Lees Ferry to Diamond Creek. Many of my 16 chosen images were taken from exciting hikes off the river.
